Celebrity Beatdown is a game that should instantly be familiar to fans of Pokemon and other RPG games. It is a battle game based off of the in-depth battle system that makes Pokemon games a cultural hit, replacing the deadly fantasy critters with real-life celebrities and cultural icons. The result is a zany clash between unlikely opponents (and is a great way to destroy Justin Bieber in a way that won't land you behind bars!)
The battles are complete with performance-hindering status effects (such as paralysis, poison, and Kanye West refusing to let you finish any of your attacks) and items that both help and hurt you; the adventurous can compete in the Celebrity League to battle and unlock new characters!
Happy New Years! After updating the project to Visual Studio 2013 (which I love), I've started reviewing some of the shitty code and made a couple of behind-the-scenes changes that should improve program reliability.
